UTILITY COMPANIES IN NEED OF INVESTTMENTS
Support A1+!Chair of Public Utility’s Coordinating Commission Robert Nazaryan said Friday consumer prices for power would be kept pegged at least till the end of this year.
To make any decision the commission has to hear reports of utility-supplying companies and discuss all issues related to investment programs.
Robert Nazaryan said independent and reliable alternative energy system must be created in Armenia. As a result, precipitous increase in consumer prices is expected, he said.
Nazaryan also said Armelectronet power supply company presented to the commission investment program of 3,4 billion USD, under which power plants in Armenian provinces would be repaired.
Armrusgasard, gas company will target 5,8 billion on increasing number of gas consumers.
