TRIAL OF LAVRENTI KIRAKOSYAN CONTINUING

Today the First Instance Court of Armavir City has continued hearing of the criminal case for Lavrenti Kirakosyan, Qarakert villager of Armavir District.

Let’s remind that the trial started yesterday. All the 8 witnesses testified, 6 of them were the police employees of Baghramyan Region.

Today’s session started with the speech of Kirakosyan. He produced some facts that his rights had been broken and the whole preliminary inquest process had been held by flagrant violations of law.

Kirakosyan’s Advocate Vardan Zurnachyan appeared with more than 10 solicitations, which would enable the Court to get the complete picture of the criminal case. But the Court found it inexpedient to grant the petitions, except the one – examination of the material evidence in the Court hall.

The prosecution demanded for 2-year-long imprisonment for Lavrenti Kirakosyan. The trial will continue on June 18, at 3:00 PM.
