MUNICIPAL ECONOMY IS RUNNING

Ashot Sargssyan, head of Yerevan Municipality Department on Municipal Economy and Construction, has today informed that Mayor had already instructed those responsible for construction of the municipal economy.

According to Mr. Sargssyan, the instructions mainly regard asphalting in Yerevan streets, wrecking buildings and the reports demanded from private businessmen and organizations implementing sewerage, gas, electricity supply and other public utilities.

Only thanks to the questions posed by journalists it turned that the roofs of buildings were repaired, front doors and windows were placed. Answers over reconstruction of elevators and scavenging were obscure. It was once again stated that huge investments are necessary in those systems.

Centralized heating system won’t any more run in Yerevan. 13 organizations and private businessmen have produced business projects to Government on operating the system of local heating.
