NEW LAW ON ECOLOGY SPHERE
Support A1+!Great Britain Government has financed elaboration of the Armenian bill on “Ecological Examination”. “For the first time the bill provides an independent ecological examination”, Boris Ghazaryan, Vice-Director of “Ecological Examination” state non-trade organization of Ecology Ministry said during introduction of the bill in Teqeyan Cultural Center.
Who are the persons conducting examination and who will they introduce the examination results? “Physical and juridical persons, national and international organizations can make examinations. They can represent an opinion and it may be of consultative significance”, Mr. Ghazaryan said.
Julieta Ghlichyan, head of Normative and Methodological Department of Ecology Ministry informed that under the bill Ministry has to control fulfillment of examination. What role will the bill have for protecting the ecological resources of the country? “It’s a law reducing the risks for extermination”, she said.
