TROUBLED PEOPLE UNITING IN ANGRY PROTEST

Social

Armenian Culture Fund staged Wednesday a rally with a march in Yerevan in support of the people driven from their homes because of Northern Avenue ongoing construction, in a bid to prevent Dalma Gardens cutting and in protest of eviction Armenian National Library and the Armenian Culture Fund from their premises.

The Fund’s chair Arevshat Avagyan says the authorities were informed about the event beforehand, but showed no reaction to that.

Messages with demands were sent to Yerevan mayor, Armenian justice minister and the premier.

Upon completing the rally, the protesters decided to continue the protest action but separately, on each of these four imbroglios. The action related to Northern Avenue will be held on Thursday.
