PARLIAMENTARY HEARINGS ARE SENSELESS WHEN ANY ISSUE IS SETTLED

Today Parliament Commission on State and Legal Issues has initiated parliamentary hearings on “ArmenTel” issue and changes made to N 60 licence. Representatives of about 17 organizations from President Staff, Commission of Economic Competition, Armenian Justice Ministry, organizations rendering IP services etc had come to Parliament to partake in the discussions.
The hearings didn’t much interest the Armenian MPs. Only 15 MPs were present in Parliament Hall. Opposition MPs Arshak Sadoyan, Napoleon Azizyan and Hrant Khachatryan were among them.
However, the hearings didn’t assist in forming a compromise attitude to the issue. The conflicting parts – Armenian Justice Minister, Arshak Sadoyan and representatives of IP services remained loyal to their preliminary viewpoints.
