The site makes it possible to get information about the programs realized by the US Government in Armenia in Armenian language. For example, one can learn who has been given the 13 million dollars for the development of democracy. According to Robin Phillips, Head of the US International Development, the sum has been allotted both to the higher links, eg. Government, and to the lower links, e.g. social organizations.
The journalists, who waited for the Ambassador for 35 minutes, were interested also in other issues except the new site of the Embassy. John Evans refused to give any information about the activity of the OSCE fact-collecting group working in Karabakh. «The report is not ready yet», he said.
