ARMENIANS FROM USA TAKING CARE OF OUR NATURE
Support A1+!Every year in October the delegation of Trustees of the Armenian Assembly of America arrives in Armenia. «This year we decided to give the young Armenian of America the possibility to come to their mother land», says the regional head of t he ACA in Armenia Arpi Vardanyan.
The program started on June 29 and it will last 12 days. The period of school vacations (June-July) has been chosen for the visit.
Visits to the historical and cultural places of Armenia are organized for the guests. They have already been to St. Echmiadzin and Sevan.
Today 22 young Armenians from America of about 5-18 years cleaned the area of the Tsitsernakaberd together with the program «Planting Trees in Armenia». «This was the main aim of our program: they were not only to visit their mother land but also to make their own contribution to it», said Arpi Vardanyan.
On July 7 the delegation from 6 US states will take part in the event organized by the program «Planting Trees in Armenia» in the village Karin.
