CHAMBER MUSIC HALL OR CAFES?
Support A1+!Today a press conference was held opposite the Chamber Music Hall after Komitas titled «Noisy cafes threaten the existence of the Chamber Music Band». According to architect Armen Hakhnazaryan, Yerevan will soon become a barren field where there will be only a couple of trees and a number of fed-up sheep.
The press conference was held by the coalition «SOS-Yerevan». It was devoted to the construction of the new cafe opposite the Chamber Music hall as well as to the problem of the loud music of the cafe «9th wave» which hinders the work of the music hall.
The press conference organized by the coalition «SOS-Yerevan» which includes several NGOs, intellectuals and residents of Yerevan will mark the start of the events trying to put an end to the destruction of green areas on Yerevan. The first step is to hinder the conversion of the Chamber Music Hall park into a cafe area. The coalition will send an open letter to the Yerevan mayor Yervand Zakharyan demanding to stop the construction of the new cafe immediately.
