The monument to the Founding Gathers of the Saint Cross city in the Stavropol region Budyonovsk city has been destroyed for the third time this year. According to the newspaper «Yerkramas», the local Armenian community and the representatives of the Armenian Apostolic Church are truly indignant at the barbarism. According to the head of the local Armenian community Petros Mkrtchyan, today they will send letters to the mayor, the head of the city Duma and the head of the Internal Affairs of Budyonovsk. According to Petros Mkrtchyan, the act was planned beforehand.

By the way, the Armenian community of Budyonovsk will not restore the khachkar any more. «There are people who are more pleased with the ruins and not the existence of the monument to the Armenian-Russian friendship. So let the ruins remain as they are», said Petros Mkrtchyan.
