On November 13 at about 01:00 a.m. in Pyatigorsk (Stavropol region) an attempt has been made to burn the builing of the Armenian Culture Center where the offices of a number of Armenian organizations are located. There is also an Armenian church nest to the Culture house.

The act of arson has been shot by video: three young people wrote with green paint “Allah Akbar” o nhte wall of the building, and threw the bottle with petrol to teh window. Fortunately the bottle hit the window-sill, fell down and exploded outside the building, not inside it. A fire brigade and policemen arrived at the place of incident.

Representatives of different communities have already condemned the crime.
