The Azeri authorities have confirmed that the wild birds which died on the shores of the Caspian Sea had the bird flue virus. Analysis showed that it is the H5N1 virus. The Azeri Health Ministry warned the citizens to refrain from contact with wild birds.
By the way, since 2003 at least 88 people have died in different countries because of bird flu.
