ONE STEP FROM ILLEGALITY TO LEGALITY

On November 25, 2005 the RA Prime Minister made a decision according to which the last date of legalizing the illegal buildings was March 1, 2006.

At present about 112 000 illegal constructions are registered by the Cadastre. 14 502 of them are doors, 12 320 are balconies, 4 303 are kiosks, etc.

According to the advisor of the Yerevan mayor, Yervand Zakharyan has made many decisions about the illegal constructions. At present there are a number of decisions about legalization in the municipality. One of the reasons can be the fact that the citizens are not aware of the final date. And in case they don't take the decisions about legalization in time, they can be deprived of the right to legalize their illegal constructions.
