The Russian Embassy in Yerevan opened its doors to all those who wanted to condole with the families of the victims of the May aircrash. The book of condolences was opened from 10:00 till 16:00.

According to the workers of the Embassy, it is not yet known how many people have come since morning, but people are very active. “They come with large groups.” The students of the Yerevan State Linguistic University also came to pay their respect to the memory of the victims.

The messages in the book of condolences were both in Armenian and in Russian.

The book was continuous, that is to say it contains condolences about all the accidents in Russia including the Beslan case. There is also a black box in the Embassy which contains letters to the families of the victims.
