NEW YOUTH ASSOCIATION WAS FOUNDED

The World Armenian Congress which was founded in 2003 with Ara Abrahamyan at the head united the Armenian organizations of Armenia and the Diaspora and organized the first conference in the RA National Academy of Science.

Ara Abrahamyan, the head of the WAC and the Union of Armenians in Russia, and Radik Martirosyan, the head of the NAS, made speeches. During the conference a council was created, President, two vice presidents and secretary of the Association were elected, and the regulations of the new Association were represented.

By the way, only organizations and unions can be member of the association. Individuals are not accepted.

During the conference the participants delivered a message to all the young Armenians in the world. With the message they called everyone to cooperation for the sake of future, the welfare of the international community and peace.

Then the participants of the conference paid a visit to Tsitsernakaberd to put flowers to the memorial of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
