What is the position of the EU about the construction of a new nuclear power station with 1000 megawatts of power? Is the EU ready to support Armenia in its construction? Asked these questions, head of the European Committee delegation to Georgia and Armenia Torben Holce said that there are many problems connected with the construction of a new station.
“If the investigation shows that the plan is sensible and ecologically safe, then it’s possible. But there are many problems connected with ecology and nuclear wastes which must be investigated separately”, he said.
