SUICIDE AFTER ATTEMPT OF MURDER

On January 25 the Gyumri department of the police was informed that Paskevich Ghazaryan (b. 1931) committed suicide in his house in Gertsen street 3/12.

The police officers revealed that P. Ghazaryan had a quarrel with his wife Astgho Ghazaryan (b. 1942) during which he hit his wife with a kitchen knife and a hammer after which went to the lumber-room and hung himself.

A. Ghazaryan has been taken to hospital. The case is investigated by the Shirak regional prosecutor’s office.
