Cases of tularemia have been found in the village of Tsovagyugh, Gegharqouniq marz. To note, tularemia is a contagious disease passing from animals, namely from rodents.

The Ministry of Health found six cases of the illness and over 10 infected people. Epidemiologists immediately took drastic measures to prevent the further expansion of the infection.
