‘TRIUMPHIC MARCH GOES ON’
Support A1+!Today, a race dedicated to the 15th anniversary of Shushi emancipation has commenced from Echmiadzin. The race, titled “Triumph March Goes On”, is organized by Young Union of Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF).
A holy liturgy was served in Echmiadzin and thereafter the youngsters were handed the torch. They are to take the torch to “Yerablur” to honor the perished, and later they are to get to Masis. Tomorrow the race will head off Artashat, Ararat and Vedi where Vayots Dzor marz youngsters will be handed the torch to continue the action.
The race will be over on May 9, in the church of “Surb Ghanzanchetsots”, Shushi. Before the holy liturgy service, His Holiness Pargev Martirosyan, leader of Artsakh Diocese will be handed the torch to light the candles in the church.
“This initiative symbolizes the unification of our two fatherlands: Armenia and Artsakh. It reinforces our relations and strengthens the values that are too necessary and essential nowadays.” Tatul Harutyunyan, member to ARF Supreme Body commented on the initiative.
To mention, an exhibition dedicated to Shushi victory is envisaged on May 9, in the Conservatory adjacent park.
