RESIDENTS DRINK MUDDY WATER
Support A1+!In the result of irregular water supply sewerage waters mixed with irrigation ditch in Mushakan Village, Erebuni Community.
Eventually, the village residents get water every three days and they cannot water their gardens.
A few days ago a water-pipe dispatcher promised A1+ to deal “with the matter.” Today another dispatcher told A1+ that bad water supply is determined by the lack of water. “Water reservoir empties before being filled,” he said.
Rubbish flows into the irrigation ditch with sewerage waters. Residents throw litter into the stream as there aren’t rubbish bins in the village.
“I can bring rubbish bins to the village but the residents will hardly pay the service bill. I know it for sure as I have already talked to them. They got used to throwing rubbish into the stream or into the gulf,” said the village head Sveta Aslanyan.
When A1+ informed Lena Aghababyan, the chief doctor of the Erebuni Sanitary-Epidemiological Station, about the current state of the village, the latter said, “The River Hrazdan carries sewerage waters. Many settlements have appeared in such a hopeless state.” Further on the cheif doctor said that it is not upon their department to handle the matter.
It is noteworthy that drinking water of Mushavan is also polluted.
“We turn on the taps and wait for 40 minutes as we cannot drink muddy water,” said one of the residents and pointed to the water (see the photo).
