NOTHING IS KNOWN ABOUT THE PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION
Support A1+!It is not excluded, that the preliminary investigation body will accuse three servicemen Razmik Sargsyan, Arayik Zalyan and Musa Serobyan, who were sentenced to life imprisonment, but justified by the Court of Cassation. This was the opinion of their lawyer Stepan Voskanyan. After the decision of the Court of the Cassation in 2006, a new investigation started on their case.
“Since the investigation is kept in secret, I do not know what outcomes it may have. But I am sure that they try to keep the boys in fear. Maybe they will find out something”, said the lawyer.
But before the end of the investigation, which is underway, the lawyer has turned to the Center of Forensic Medicine at the RA Ministry of Health to examine the health state of the former defendants. “We will decide what to do after getting acquainted with the results. In case of necessity we will turn to independent experts. It is the right of the boys to appeal to the Court in future”, mentioned Stepan Voskanyan. The lawyer informed that two of the defendants, who went on hunger strike, were in the isolation sells and had serious problems with health.
It should be mentioned, that Razmik Sargsyan, Arayik Zalyan and Musa Serobyan were accused of killing Roma Yeghiazaryan and Hovsep Mkrtumyan in Mataghis military unit and sentenced to life imprisonment. After being imprisoned for three years, they were released by the decision of the Court of Cassation and the case was sent to investigation.
