A 2.8-magnitude earthquake was recored 18 km north-west to Spitak at 10.17 local time. The force of the epicenter was measured 3-4 on the Richter scale.

The earthquake was felt in Vanadzor and nearby villages, Armenia’s National Service for Seismic Security reports.
