CARS CLOG STREETS
Support A1+!Students of Yerevan State Pedagogical University (YSPU) should be on the alert lest they should be knocked down in front of the building.
We are already sick and tired of this mess. We have been walking amid dust and dirt for already a year. People passing by might be run over any minute if they are a little inattentive. So what is the use of the construction?” said a YSPU student Liana Solarian.
Another YSPU student, Alina, saw her friend hit by a car the other day. The car was running at top speed.
“Garbage trucks pass the area spreading stench. Cars have been become our "friends." One can hear their signals every now and then,” said Arthur who also studies at the university.
Students say they are forced to crowd on the stairs to avoid accidents and scandals with drivers.
Some of the students say they understand drivers quite well and blame the authorities for the current state.
YSPU students wish the construction ended sooner so that they could gather in front of the building without any fear of being knocked down.
