SYMPATHIZING WITH AGHAJANOV’S FAMILY
Support A1+!Economist Edward Aghajanov, aged 50, died from a heart attack at about 8.00, May 19. As an experienced scientist and a skillful manager Aghajanov was trusted the position of the head of RA National Statistics Service, where he worked with great devotion and diligence.
Edward Aghajanov was an intellectual citizen who attracted the attention of both the authorities and the opposition by his social attitude. In the Armenian society he was well known for his logical and persuasive economic analyses. Aghajanov’s major goal was the establishment of rational basis for the country’s economy.
We deeply grieve over the loss of Edward Aghajanov, a high-class intellectual, a successful scientist and a willing friend, and profoundly sympathize with his family and relatives.
