PEOPLE UNDER RUINS
Support A1+!In the city of Gyumri the southern wall of an unfinished construction fell on the nearest house razing it to the ground on June 18. Several people were caught in the ruins.
According to preliminary data it was the two-fold wall of “Ankyun” Ltd that fell on the house No 101/031 on Shirakatsi Str.
The Rescue Service was able to take out the corpses of 68-year-old Luiza Adamian, 69-year-old Zhorzhetta Harutyunian and 39-year-old Hasmik Harutyunian from under the ruins. Gayane Lambarian (born in 1988) was taken to hospital with both serious and minor injuries.
Doctors say her life is not at stake any longer.
STRONG WIND
On June 15 at about 01:00 a.m. strong wind damaged the roof of “Hatis” OJSC (1700m2) on 11 Sevan Str., Abovyan.
Special commission has been formed to assess the damage.
FIRE IN HATSARAT
On June 19 at 02:40 a.m. fire broke out in Hatsarat District, Gegharkunik Region. The fire destroyed the roof of E. Israyelyan’s closet with a surface of 12m2.
The fire was brought under control at 02:53 a.m. and put out at 04:07 a.m.
