“I can’t sit and be happy knowing that there are innocent people in jail. That’s my opinion. In any case, we are hiding everything. We don’t talk about what we should really be talking about. The criminals of March 1 remain unrevealed and this is a pain for all of us. We can’t just leave that aside and pretend to be happy, pretend that nothing happened and there is no financial crisis awaiting us in the New Year,” says the actress.
According to her, people always celebrate the New Year with the hope of something new.
“We have been living with hope for years. Unfortunately, each year doesn’t bring us anything new,” says Varduhi Varderesyan who considers herself optimistic.
Today is the Old New Year and she wishes for freedom of speech so that everyone can freely express his or her ideas.
