PENSION INCREASE WILL HARDLY BE HELPFUL

“I cannot afford bare necessities with my pension. I wish they raised our pensions so that we could afford our daily needs. The 17 000 drams are not even enough to pay for public utilities. The pension is the only source of my income. Even if it is raised by 1000-2000 drams it won’t suffice me,” said 63-year-old pensioner Raya Saiyan.


Almost all pensioners surveyed by A1+ Company are displeased with their pensions. They say they cannot live on their pensions but for the support of their children or relatives.


Grandmother Varsik thinks that our officials spend a sum equal to their pensions in a day.


Remind that starting from January 1 the Government fixed a base pension of 5800 drams instead of former 5000.
