ARMENIA ASPIRES TO GOLD MEDAL
Support A1+!The 36th World Olympic Contest among chess players will start Friday in Spain. Vladimir Hakobyan, Levon Aronyan, Raphael Vahanyan, Gabriel Sargssyan, Artashes Minasyan and Smbat Lputyan will represent Armenia at the competition.
Armenia’s team is reckoned among the competition favorites. The only serious rival to our grand masters are Russians.
Women’s team is made up of four chess players Elina Danelyan, Lilit Mkrtchyan, Nelli Aginyan and Siranush Andreasyan.
