Vasili Ivanchuk and Andrey Karlov are leading with 100% results – 3 points. Levon Aronyan who is among the favorites of group A, lost with black draughts to Valeri Filipov and retreated to the middle of the list. Artashes Minasyan too lost his game. Rafael Vahanyan, Karen Asryan, and Tigran L. Petrosyan won their games, while Ashot Anastasyan played a draw.
In the 2nd stream, of group A Arsen Eghiazaryan plays well and after the 3rd round tops the list with 3 points and 100% efficiency (together with Rauf Mamedov). Beniamin Galstyan, Tigran Kotanjyan, and Arthur Haroutyunyan won ½ points in this round. Elina Danielyan, who has only ½ points up to now, lost again.
