Support A1+!Coach of the Youth football team of Ukraine Alexey Mikhailichenko commented on the sortition of the «EURO-2008» and the discussions after it. He told the Ukrainian Mass Media that the schedule of matches is not acceptable for them because of Armenia.
Armenia is included in the second group together with Ukraine, Turkey, the Czech Republic and Lichtenstein. According to Mikhailichenko, Armenia is a serious opponent. «They have a good team which is technically well-prepared. It was because of the Armenians that we were unable to schedule the games. Factually, the Caucasians create serious problems for us».
He also said, «The Armenians and the Turks quickly found a common language, despite the complicated relations between the two countries. The Turks cannot play in Caucasus and they will spend much time on the visas».
