ARONIAN STARTS WITH DEFEAT
Support A1+!“Chess Masters-2008” has kicked off in Bilbao, Spain, with the participation of six Armenian Grand Masters. In the first round Armenian GM Levon Aronyan lost to Magnus Carlsen of Norway.
The games Vishvanatan Anand– Vassily Ivanchuk, and Temur Rajabov – Vesselin Topalov ended in a draw.
In the 3rd round Aronyan is to compete with Vesselin Topalov.
