“We want to win. The important thing is that the invited football players have no injuries and are ready to play,” told “A1+” midfielder of the Yerevan “Pyunik” and the Armenian national team Henrich Mkhitaryan.

Mkhitaryan is currently in Cyprus where the Armenian and Latvian teams will play a friendly match tomorrow. According to Mkhitaryan, Armenian football players don’t know much about the Latvian team.

“We don’t have much information about the Latvian team. We know that Latvia participated in the final round of “Euro-2004” and that says a lot, but only the game will show what Latvia is capable of,” says Mkhitaryan.

Henrich Mkhitaryan underlined that he is more concerned about the Armenian team than the Latvian one.

“It doesn’t matter who will play on the Latvian team. The important thing is for us to do our best.”
