Vahanyan scored the best
Armenian chess players of the A1 group of "Aeroflot Open" continue to score half points and they are currently at the top of the list.
Rafael Vahanyan had high chances of reaching the top, but he played a 0-0 match with his Belarusian opponent Alexey Alexandrov and is at 21st with 1.5 points.
Gabriel Sargsyan played a 0-0 match two times in a row. The key player of the Armenian chess team scored half a point in the match with Sergey Zhigalko from Belarus.
Levon Babujyan succeeded in the matches of the A2 group. In the second round, Babujyan won his Ukrainian opponent Sergey Pavlov with the black figures. The Armenian chess players head the table along with eight other contenders.
David Gevorgyan and Vahe Baghdasaryan of the B group played well and scored 1.5 points respectively. The Armenian chess players of the C Group are playing better. Aghasi Inants and Sargis Sargsyan scored victories in the two rounds.
