7 programs are funded
The program entitled "Strengthening of the system of democratic governance of youth centers in provinces" is being implemented within the framework of the one-year contract signed by the OSCE Yerevan Office and the "Center for organizing youth events" state non-trade organization of the RA Ministry of Sports and Youth Issues in 2009.
A contest has been declared and will be held in three stages. Ten youth centers have presented 11 programs of which 7 have been selected and have received funding by the OSCE Yerevan Office and center representatives. The programs are selected based on a number of norms, including strategies, inclusion of youth in the program, experimental and creative approaches and more. The implementation of the seven programs selected in the first stage is underway and the deadline for completion is April 15.
The aim of the program "Strengthening of system of democratic governance in centers of provinces" is to support the solution to youth issues, raise the level of civil activity, as well as make the youth more competitive in the labor market.
