Collapse in central Yerevan
On March 31 at around 2 p.m. one of the balcony floors of the 4th floor of the 6th apartment building on Mashtots Avenue collapsed. There are no victims.
Residents say that the 2.1 square meter balcony was in poor condition and that was why it collapsed. The Kentron district council responded and reconstruction is underway. Council representatives say that the balcony will be fully renovated in a week.
