Power unit to be built by Americans
"Two orders have been placed by two American companies," Vasak Tarposhyan, Spokesman for the RoA State Procurement Agency, told A1+.
It means Armenia needn't fear that Turkish companies may participate in the tender.
At the preliminary stage the bids of the U.S. companies were estimated as satisfactory. Currently, they are considering the contents.
The companies' names are still unknown to the public. The winner will be known on May 5.
Note that a tender had been announced for the supervision of the construction of a new nuclear power generating unit. The construction is to be realized with the assistance of the European Union.
