The winner will leave for Egypt
The Imagine Cup-Armenia annual competition is due tonight.
Four teams will participate in today's competition which challenges talented teams to develop inventive projects, by developing innovative software applications, offer practical applicability to the suggested issues and present real-world solutions to real-world problems. The theme of this year is "Imagine a world where technology helps solve the world's toughest problems." The applicants will compete by developing ground-breaking software solutions which are in line with the theme and challenging the problems facing our global society.
The Imagine Cup is an annual worldwide series of student technology competitions focused around Microsoft technology and encouraging young people to apply their imagination, their passion, and their creativity to technology innovations that can make a difference in the world.
This year, for the second time, Imagine Cup will be executed on regional bases in Armenia.
Further to regional competition the most successful team will advance to the worldwide final in Cairo, Egypt, in July 2009.
