Vladik Karapetian tops the chart
Armenian sportsman Vladik Karapetian (69 kg) lifted 235 kg to take the lead in Group B at the ongoing Junior World Weightlifting Championships in Thailand.
The weigtlifter was the 12th in Group A.
China has won all gold medals and stands a good chance to participate at the Junior Olympic Games 2010.
Armenian sportsmen Rafik melikian (69), Aren Nersisian (77 kg), Azat Sargsian (85 kg), Hrach Daribian (above 94 kg) and Misha Muradian (above 94 kg) haven't competed yet.
