Locomotive crash
A citizen was hit by a diesel locomotive on the Yerevan-Noragavit railway section on July 7 at 12 a.m. The police left for the scene and found the body of 49-year old Hovhannes Edigaryan with his head crushed near the #30 supporting column between 6-7 pickets on the Yerevan-Noragavit 2.874 kilometer section.
It also turned out that on July 7 at 12:05 a.m., only the locomotives of Abov A. (born in 1951) and Volga S. (born in 1947) had passed the section.
Facts are being cleared up and investigation is headed by the investigative department for transportation crimes.
