Ambassador's wife was among the passengers
The atmosphere is hotting up in Caspian Airlines Company located on Yerevan's Nalbandian Street.
Relatives of the passengers of the crashed Tu 154 flying from Tehran to Yerevan were at the company, checking the names and making calls.
Some left in tears, others booked tickets to return to Iran.
"We have received calls from all angles of the world -Japan, Russian, Romania and Iran. We are also upset about the air crash," Bella Gevorgian, senior dispatcher of Tatev Travel Company, said to A1+.
Most of the passengers were Iranian Armenian businessmen. Arthur Grigorian and Ashot Nersisian, employees of Markel Ltd, were on board the plane.
Natela Nikolava, the wife of Georgia's Ambassador to Iran, and Givi Chkadua, Financial Manager of the Georgian Embassy in Armenia, were also on the plane.
"My relatives and friends were on the plane. They are all dead. It is too difficult to stay here and to be the first to learn about the deaths. But I prefer staying here and continuing my work," said another employee of Caspian Airlines Lala Amirkhanian.
