Strike continues in Kapan
Employees of Kapan's former ore mining enterprise -Dino Gold Mining Company-continued their protest action in front of the Town Hall.
Remind that some 100 employees of the Company went on strike on Monday with a demand to receive the salaries in full.
Last week the Company's General Manager announced that the strike would be averted thanks to a bonus programme of payroll payment. The GM's announcement aroused indignation among the employees who went on strike the following Monday.
About 40 employees have been fired as a result of the ongoing strike. Today the strikers were received by Kapan's Mayor. The latter advised the protesters to return to work and find a common language.
