The administration of the "Luys" Foundation's educational program has made the following statement:

"The educational program of the "Luys" Foundation created under the auspices of RA President Serzh Sargsyan and Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan is called for supporting Armenian students studying at the best universities around the world and it has taken the initiative to accept applications from students and grant scholarships. The process is almost over and the foundation will soon announce the names of the students who will receive scholarships from the "Luys" Foundation.

The Foundation requires an immensely large amount of information to process, study and make a final decision.

In the course of three weeks, the "Luys" Foundation received nearly 4,000 letters, which were studied and responded in 600 pages.

But the "Luys" Foundation's educational program does not only face hardships like this. A student from the Institute of Physics and Technologies of Moscow Hayk Ishkhanyan has barged into the Foundation's educational program office, caused problems and threatened the workers several times already. Hayk Ishkhanyan is the son of Artur Ishkhanyan, who is rather well-known for declaring himself as the creator of this program and who still tries to make this program his own and threaten the public. As they say, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

The "Luys" Foundation's educational program started when there was rather serious negative PR organized by Artur Ishkhanyan and it most probably had to do with the fact that he was not selected to hold the post of director of the foundation's educational program by the unanimous decision of the committee.

The administration of the educational program has received a lot of "Spam" mail and this has also caused problems. We don't want to suspect anybody for organizing these inferior acts, but judging from the actions of Artur and Hayk Ishkhanyan, whether we like it or not, we think that it could have been motivated by them.

The administration of the "Luys" Foundation's educational program announces that from now on it will use all legal measures to set limits on such infringements," as stated in the statement by the "Luys" Foundation's educational program administration.
