Two of the arrested were minors
Representatives of different police subdivisions and National Security Service officials investigated and arrested yesterday Mkrtich Hovsepyan, 16, Hayk Budoyan, 28 and his brother Vigen Budoyan, 16 for attacks on tourists.
Let us remind that two citizens of the Czech Republic were attacked on Arami Street on July 23. Two other alarms were sounded on July 25 when two citizens of the Netherlands and three from Argentina were attacked on Y. Koghbatsi Street and V. Sargsyan Street.
Police say that they found a "Makarov" type of gun after searching Mkrtich Hovsepyan's house, as well as the "Visa Electron" and"Master" cards, passports, watches, wallets, cell-phones, foreign currencies and other items belonging to the tourists at the Budoyan residence.
The police suspect the boys have committed other crimes and the injured parties may appeal to the Central Division of the Police or any other nearby division.
Preliminary investigation of the facts is in progress.
