Summer is drawing to an end, but most citizens of Yerevan are not rushing to go on summer vacation yet.

Some citizens predict that the crisis will deepen more in September and choose to save their money.

"As if we make enough money, now we have to think about going on vacation. We barely make ends meet. My family and I won't be going anywhere this year, but I hope things will be better next year," Vahe Mkrtchyan told "A1+".

Anush Antonyan said that she would go on vacation abroad because it is more expensive to spend the vacation in Tsakhkadzor than the sea.

"I haven't been on vacation for 15 years. We barely make ends meet and nothing will change even if I hold two jobs. I will do my children a favor and take them to Sevan," said Margarita Hakobyan.

Varduhi Hovhannisyan says that people can have the chance to go on vacation if they have a great desire. "If you set aside 15,000 drams every month, you can go on vacation. I don't think that it is impossible. Armenians deserve to go on vacation for at least 10 days."

Many citizens said that the last time they went on vacation was during the Soviet times and after that it was always work and more work.

"Now that I think about it, if we go on vacation, I won't be able to buy new clothes for my children for the new school year. That's why we are simply going to go to our relative's house for a couple of days," said Artavazd Voskerchyan.

In fact, some citizens said that they can't go on vacation because they don't have one.
