Flood drove through
Yesterday at 6:30 p.m. the 25th kilometer section of the Alaverdi-Bagratashen interstate highway was closed for nearly half an hour. The drain was clogged due to heavy rains and the road was closed due to water, rocks and metals flowing from the Dsegh. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
The closure of 20 meter area was closed and caused traffic for over an hour. Residents of Dzoraget made the road somehow passable.
They cleaned the road for a couple of hours and helped the cars make it through. They managed to change the flow of the waters to not let it reach the residential areas. The water simply drove into parks, lands and beehives.
