Earthquake in Georgia
At 02.41, September 8, an earthquake took place 80 km north-east from the town of Kutaisi, Georgia, with the force of epicenter being 8 on the Richter scale.
The earthquake was felt in a few Armenian settlements - Gyumri, Vanadzor, Alaverdi and Noemberyan with force of 3-4, reports the National Seismic Service of the Republic of Armenia.
The latter says that another 6 magnitude shock was registered at 2:42 a.m.
According to preliminary information, the earthquake caused serious destructions in the epicenter. No victims are reported.
