To receive swine flu vaccination
The swine flu vaccination will most probably reach Armenia in October, reported First Deputy of the RA Health Minister, president of the commission on fight against the swine flu, Hayk Darbinyan.
The RA Health Ministry appealed to the World Health Organization and the corresponding Russian ministries with the request for vaccination and treatment will begin as soon as the vaccination is imported to Armenia.
According to Hayk Darbinyan, the World Health Organization will provide free vaccination to Armenia to a certain extent and the rest will be charged.
Let us inform that the US and China already have the vaccination and are using it for groups of people who are prone to the disease, while other countries are waiting to receive the vaccination.
According to statistics of the World Health Organization, there are over 300,000 cases of the swine flu around the world of which 4,000 were fatal. There has not been a case of swine flu in Armenia yet.
