Drivers have been paying 360 drams instead of 350 for petroleum since yesterday. The price for regular petroleum has gone up from 350 drams to 360, while the price for premium has gone up from 370 to 380 drams.

The Commission for Protection of Economic Competition has already registered the change of petroleum prices. Press secretary of the commission Armine Udumyan told "A1+" that their experts are currently conducting research to find out whether it was a violation or not.

"The first time the commission will not register a violation of rules, but the second time, there will be a corresponding case, if it is not substantiated."

Why did the prices go up and is another rise of prices possible? "A1+" asked the "Flesh" company, which is the major petrol-importing company. Vice-director of the company Mushegh Elchyan said that it is due to international prices. "The price will most probably stay the same for a week," he assured.
