Turkey may participate as well
The CTS2009 annual international tourism exhibition will be held in Yerevan on November 6-7.
It is foreseen that the exhibition will officially be opened by RA Deputy Minister of Economy Ara Perosyan at the "Moscow" cinema.
The exhibition is organized by the Armenian Association of Travel Agencies (AATA) and the representation of American Society of Travel Agencies (ASTA) in Armenia under patronage of the RA Ministry of Economy and support from the USAID's "Competitive Private Sector in Armenia" program, as well as in collaboration with the Armenian Development Bank.
Within the framework of the CTS2009 exhibition, attendees will have the chance to receive information about trends in development of tourism in the region, as well as information about the development and perspectives of business ties between Armenia and Turkey.
According to organizers, the Turkish Society of Travel Agencies has transmitted information about the CTS2009 exhibition to more than 5,000 society members and it is possible that Turkish tourism companies and journalists will visit Yerevan.
Participating in the CTS2009 exhibition are 65 organizations, including travel agencies and operators, airline companies, hotel complexes and resorts, state and non-governmental organizations in the sphere, travel publishing homes and information centers, educational institutions, restaurants, organizations supporting the sphere of tourism, as well as leading producers of souvenirs, brandy and wine.
