No rain or snow, but low temperatures
There will not be any snow in Yerevan today and precipitation will stop in the next couple of hours, as reported by head of the department of meteorological predictions of Armenian State Hydrometer, Gagik Surenyan. According to him, snow is falling mainly in the highlands, while it is raining in the valleys.
"In the next couple of hours, the cyclone will move to the Caspian Sea and make way for the anti-cyclone. We expect to see clear weather and no rain for the next three days," he said.
As far as the air temperature is concerned, tonight there will be a wave of Arctic air from the northwest. In addition to that, the clear weather will lower the air temperature by 4-6 degrees at night and will remain unchanged until November 29.
The temperatures will range from 2-4 degrees at night in the Ararat Valley and 10-12 degrees in the afternoon. The temperature ranges from 6-8 degrees in Yerevan.
According to Gagik Surenyan, the temperatures are within the norm.
